Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install various types of gutters using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and function. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and ensuring all necessary materials are on hand. Perform repairs on existing gutter systems, including sealing leaks with caulking and replacing damaged sections. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards on construction sites. Utilize construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines. Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet industry standards and client expectations. Requirements Prior experience with construction site work or related trades such as roofing, framing carpentry, or masonry is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and other construction equipment. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to gutter installation projects. Familiarity with construction estimating principles for material planning and project management. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding. Additional skills such as metal stud framing, plumbing, tile laying, welding or restoration experience are considered a plus but are not required.
