This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial skylight systems, canopy systems, and daylighting products on construction sites throughout Texas and surrounding states. The ideal candidate has experience using basic construction tools, is comfortable working at heights, and is willing to learn commercial glazing and skylight installation techniques. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of commercial skylights, canopies, and daylighting systems. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Read and follow installation instructions. Assist with unloading, staging, and moving materials on job sites. Work on rooftops, scaffolding, lifts, and other elevated work platforms. Install aluminum framing, glazing systems, sealants, flashing, and related components. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Travel to project sites as required. Qualifications Experience using basic construction tools and power tools. Ability to safely work at heights. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Construction, glazing, roofing, or metal building experience is a plus but not required. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of construction drawings and measurements. Experience with sealants, metal fabrication, glazing, or roofing systems. Physical Requirements Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
