Roofing Lead

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Roofing Lead to oversee and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish. As a key team member, you will lead crews, ensure safety standards are maintained, and deliver high-quality roofing solutions. Responsibilities Lead roofing crews through all phases of installation, repair, and restoration projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines efficiently. Inspect job sites regularly to ensure proper use of tools, materials, and safety equipment; address any issues promptly. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing plans and modifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers and clients to communicate project status and resolve any challenges that arise. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance for each project. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing, carpentry, masonry, or related trades with a strong understanding of roofing systems. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site experience. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, metal stud framing, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, framing carpentry, plumbing basics, restoration techniques, concrete forming, fabrication processes, heavy lifting techniques, masonry work, remodeling projects, drywall installation including metal stud framing and drywall finishing. Knowledge of safety standards related to roofing and construction sites; ability to enforce safety protocols consistently. Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with clients and team members clearly. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
