Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help bring visions to life, enhance property aesthetics, and maintain the integrity of surfaces through meticulous preparation and application. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine paint layouts and project specifications. Perform residential painting tasks including wall, ceiling, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work. Execute commercial and industrial painting projects while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Conduct surface repairs involving masonry, stucco, concrete finishing, framing, drywall installation, and plastering as needed. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials required for efficient job completion. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools such as hand tools and power tools while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and specialized equipment like airless sprayers. Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate finishes that complement their space. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Familiarity with renovation projects including remodeling, restoration, fixture installation, caulking, trim carpentry, framing, masonry, stucco work, and masonry repairs. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities efficiently. Experience with construction site safety procedures and working on active construction sites.
