is seeking experienced Steep Slope Residential Roofers to join our growing team. We are looking for skilled craftsmen who take pride in quality work, professionalism, and jobsite safety. At Weatherguard, Inc., our steep slope crews specialize in high-quality residential roofing systems throughout Washington and Oregon. Our roofers hand nail shingles, maintain high workmanship standards, and work together in a strong team-focused environment. This position is ideal for motivated roofers who want steady work, opportunities for advancement, and a company that values safety and craftsmanship. Duties & Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace residential steep slope roofing systems safely and efficiently. Hand nail shingles in accordance with company quality standards. Tear off and prepare existing roofing systems for replacement. Install underlayments, flashings, ridge systems, ventilation components, and roofing accessories. Safely use ladders, harnesses, ropes, fall protection systems, and steep slope roofing equipment. Load, stage, and transport roofing materials on residential job sites. Work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA/WAC fall protection requirements, and jobsite rules. Communicate professionally with supervisors, crew members, homeowners, and contractors when needed. Perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions while maintaining production and quality expectations. Requirements Previous steep slope residential roofing experience required. Experience hand nailing shingles preferred. Strong understanding of residential roofing systems and roofing terminology. Ability to work safely at heights and on steep roof pitches for extended periods. Knowledge of fall protection equipment and roofing safety practices. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required. Ability to work as part of a professional roofing crew in a fast-paced environment. Must maintain a strong safety mindset and positive attitude on the jobsite.
