Handyman of Racine County , we are a locally owned and operated team of elite trade professionals. We are currently seeking multiple highly-skilled Residential & Commercial Craftspersons who can "do it all" while providing exceptional service and technical expertise to our clients. The Opportunity This role is designed for the true master of the trades—someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys the variety of solving different technical challenges every day. You will lead diverse projects ranging from high-end residential repairs to critical commercial maintenance.
Core Responsibilities Advanced Trade Execution:
Perform expert-level work in carpentry , drywall finishing , professional painting , and tile installation .
Installations:
Manage full-cycle installation and precision adjustments for windows and doors in both residential and commercial settings.
Troubleshooting:
Use your diagnostic skills to identify root causes of building issues and implement long-term structural or aesthetic solutions.
Project Estimating:
Evaluate customer needs on-site to create, present, and sell accurate project estimates.
Quality Control:
Ensure every job is completed to the highest industry standards, maintaining a clean and organized job site at all times.
Qualifications Trade Expertise:
Proven experience as a senior craftsperson or lead technician with advanced skills in multiple trades.
Problem Solver:
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Communication:
Professional interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Self-Managed:
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Professional Standards:
Must own professional-grade tools for a large variety of jobs.
Safety & Requirements:
Licensed and insurable to drive a company vehicle; able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights/overhead.
Benefits & Compensation Pay:
$50,000 to $79,000 annually (dependent on professional experience).
Work-Life Balance:
Monday
  • Friday dayshift schedule ( No Weekends ).
