Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Gutter Shutter Chop & Drop Technician, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing residential and commercial properties through expert gutter system installation and maintenance. Summary:
Fabricate Gutter Shutter System:
Fabricate gutters on-site to precise measurements using the necessary equipment.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all downspouts and parts are delivered to the job site before starting installation. Inspect for existing issues, documenting and photographing any potential problems or damage before beginning work. Pack and load trucks with parts and coil. Maintain accurate weekly inventory of Gutter Shutter materials. Duties Measure, cut, and install gutter systems with precision using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Remove old or damaged gutters safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' properties Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material handling Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute installation procedures Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as fixture installation, trim carpentry, or masonry work when required Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles Experience with construction estimating, inspection, and site supervision preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation techniques Knowledge of roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, concrete forming, masonry, and restoration processes Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and concrete finishing is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations This role offers an exciting chance to grow your construction expertise while contributing to projects that improve homes and businesses.
