Roofing Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting roofing projects by assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. Possibility of Room and Board included! Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized roofing equipment Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure a secure working environment Carry materials such as shingles, metal panels, and other roofing supplies to designated areas on the roof or job site Perform heavy lifting tasks and manual labor required for transporting materials and equipment across construction sites Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including blueprint reading, framing, caulking, trim carpentry, and other related construction activities Maintain a clean and organized work area by disposing of debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Skills Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools including drills and saws Basic understanding of roofing techniques along with general construction skills like framing, metal stud framing, masonry, tile laying, stucco application, and restoration work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project plans Prior experience in construction site environments or related fields is highly desirable EPA Lead Based Paint RRP certification is necessary on site - we will provide training. Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
