ALUMINUM BOAT FABRICATOR

(PARTSMAN) Weld-Craft Manufacturing, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Aluminum Boat Fabricator (Partsman) to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual with direct experience in aluminum boat manufacturing who can step into the position with minimal training during our busy production season. Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and qualifications. Applicants should include any direct aluminum boat manufacturing experience that may not be listed on their resume.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be dependable and punctual Must be able to follow directions and work instructions Must be willing to assist other departments as needed Must possess basic reading and math skills Must have experience using a tape measure accurately

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

(Not Required) Experience fabricating aluminum sheet components for boat assembly Experience using: Level, Bending brake press, Cutting shear, Plasma torch, Hand tools, Power tools, Other fabrication equipment as needed Ability to read and interpret custom build sheets Ability to complete assigned tasks with little to no supervision Ability to work efficiently and maintain production standards

JOB DUTIES

(Include but are not limited to) Operate the rib press Lay out and fabricate metal structural parts Reinforce and brace parts for welding Locate and mark reference lines for proper positioning of boat components Prepare fabricated parts for welders Perform minor welding tasks as needed Assist with miscellaneous shop duties and other assigned tasks Weld-Craft Manufacturing, Inc. offers a fast-paced work environment with opportunities for skilled individuals to grow with our company.
