Commercial Sheet Metal Installer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of sheet metal ductwork and related components for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures. Fabricate, measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal ductwork using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Install HVAC duct systems, fittings, dampers, grills, diffusers, and related components according to project plans and code requirements. Properly secure and support ductwork to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant installations. Inspect completed work to verify proper airflow, sealing, and system performance. Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades to maintain workflow and project schedules. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and job site requirements. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area. Accurately complete daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Trade school or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum [1-5] years of experience in HVAC sheet metal installation. Proficient in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans. Knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and best practices. Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication tools, such as brakes, shears, snips, and drills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

OSHA 10/30

certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
