Job Description
Overview Join our team at a locally respected company. We offer full time work, year round with room to grow your skills and advance. Duties Fabricate ductwork, fittings, transitions, plenums and custom pieces from shop drawings. Lay out, cut, form and assemble galvanized, aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal. Operate shop equipment - shears, brakes, rolls, coil line, Pittsburgh/lock formers, spot welders and, plasma/cutting tools. Read shop drawings and duct layouts, holding tight tolerances. Seam, Seal and prep finished pieces for delivery to install crews. Qualifications HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience (or strong related fab experience) Ability to read shop drawings/blueprints and work from measurements. Comfortable running standard sheet metal shop machinery. Solid Math and measuring skills, with attention to detail and quality. Dependable, team- oriented, and able to lift/stand throughout the shift.
