Aircraft Structural Mechanic (Level III+) - Jacksonville, FL Jacksonville, FL (Shop Environment) Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | 40

06/01/2026 Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanics (Level III and above) to join a growing aviation team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term stability for skilled mechanics with strong structural and sheet metal experience. This role works in a shop environment under the direction of the Production Supervisor and plays a key role in assembling, modifying, and repairing aircraft structural components. Key Responsibilities Lead complex build-outs of aircraft assemblies and subassemblies Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings Drill, countersink, dimple, ream, and fasten structural components Assemble structures using jigs, fixtures, and precision tools Perform inspections, troubleshoot structural issues, and assist with repairs Maintain strict tolerances and quality standards Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Apply sealants and ensure proper fastener installation Collaborate with engineering and production teams Mentor and support junior mechanics Qualifications Level III (Minimum Requirements): 3+ years of aircraft structural sheet metal/mechanic experience Level IV (Preferred): 5+ years of aircraft structural experienceAdditional Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Aviation Maintenance certification or FAA-approved technical training (preferred) Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, tools, and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and communication skills Must be comfortable using hand and power tools including riveting guns, drills, torque wrenches, and more If you're a skilled aircraft structural mechanic ready for your next opportunity, apply today to join a high-performing aviation team!Pay:
