Sheet Metal Fabricator Cameron Manufacturing & Design Inc - 3.8 Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Blueprint specification interpretation Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator with a strong background in press brake operation. This role involves fabricating metal components to precise specifications using a variety of tools and machinery, with primary responsibility for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape sheet metal parts. Must be able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine correct tooling, bending sequence, and material requirements. Must be able to adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of finished parts. Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication or machine issues as they arise. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Must have experience, 5 years preferred. Strong understanding of bend allowances, material properties, and fabrication techniques. Good Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Duties and Responsibilities:
Capable of performing basic set-ups and machine adjustments and operate metal fabricating equipment.Machine set-ups:
Shear Brake Punch Notcher Other Fabricating Equipment Capable of reading fabrication blueprints and tolerances. Responsible for performing fit-up and assembly and in-process quality control checks. Make programming changes as required. Assist other Fabricators, Metal Fabricators, and Shop Hands as needed. Ability to follow specific procedures in order to complete a variety of repetitive and semi-complex tasks. Follow all machine and shop safety rules and regulations.
