- Hourly wage will depend on years and level of experience.
- Must be able to utilize equipment including hand tools, power tools, fabricating machines and equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Mimimum 5 years of Sheet metal Fitting or Mechanic experience
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of Florida building codes and laws
- Perform tests and diagnose problems for troubleshooting
- Basic reading, writing and math skills required Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position.
- Ability to accomplish Sheetmetal fabrication/installation processes in shop environments
- Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes.
- Must be able to lift/carry 40-100 lbs on a daily basis Southern Equipment is a drug-free workplace.
