Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and components according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Operate power tools, including but not limited to plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and forklifts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine fabrication requirements
- Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal pieces together
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating power tools and machinery, such as plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Skilled in welding and soldering techniques
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
