About the role The Micar Company is currently seeking experienced candidates in the construction industry to join our team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator. This position operates within our shop facility. Our team is currently working 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, Fridays as needed. Job Responsibilities Must be able to run a burn table and be able to weld sheet metal. Must know how to read and interpret blueprints sketches or product specifications. Must know types of hand tools, measuring tools, cutting tools, bending and forming machines. Ability to fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal. Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work. Ability to complete projects with accuracy and precision. Job Requirements Maintain all safety standards. 1+ years related work experience. Knowledge of sheet metal tools and equipment. Possess a strong work ethic. Heavy lifting required.
