Full-Time | 4-Month Consultant Build Strength Into Every Flight PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a skilled Metals Mechanic . In this role, your craftsmanship will directly impact the structural integrity and performance of aircraft components. Working with advanced forming techniques and high-precision tolerances, you will help ensure mission-critical parts meet the highest aerospace standards. If you're an experienced metals professional who thrives on complex work and precision results, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in aviation. What You'll Do As a Metals Mechanic, you will: Develop new forming methods, techniques, and tooling (including form blocks) to improve processes Perform advanced metal straightening and forming operations using stretch press and hand routing techniques Adjust and maintain heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems within specified tolerances Use test equipment to verify parts meet engineering specifications Work on complex components requiring exacting tolerances and precision craftsmanship Fabricate and assemble mechanical, structural, and plumbing assemblies Interpret and follow engineering drawings and technical documentation Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout all fabrication processes What You Bring Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in: Stretch Press operation Hand routing and metal forming Strong ability to work with complex parts and tight tolerances Experience using measurement and test equipment to validate work Ability to stand and perform physical work for a full 8-hour shift Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance Must pass background checks Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace manufacturing or aircraft structures Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop process improvements Familiarity with hydraulic and thermal forming systems Proven ability to work independently on advanced fabrication tasks Why Join Us At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect experienced professionals with high-impact opportunities in cutting-edge industries.

Pay Details:
