Monday to Friday; Selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily. However, must be ready to work any shift/OT/weekends as needed
Pay Rate:
$44.00-$48.00 per hour Role Overview As a Skin Quality Specialist, you'll ensure the structural integrity and visual perfection of aircraft surfaces. Your expertise in finishing, repair, and inspection will directly impact the safety, performance, and appearance of some of the most advanced aerospace products in the world. What You'll Do In this hands-on, detail-driven role, you will: Assemble, install, seal, inspect, and refine structural and system components Perform hand forming, burnishing, and surface repair to meet strict aerospace standards Apply protective coatings, metal polishing , and finishing processes Blend and transition multiple adjacent surfaces to precise engineering tolerances Drill and disassemble components to access and complete repair work Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation Use precision measuring tools and shop mathematics to ensure accuracy Conduct functional testing to verify form, fit, and function Identify and document discrepancies in accordance with procedures Maintain tools and equipment, performing routine preventive maintenance Support production flow by assisting and training team members Cross-train in inspection functions and work toward SIA qualification Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and process requirements Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in skin quality, including hand forming, burnishing, and repair Strong experience with surface finishing and blending to tight tolerances Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and technical documentation Ability to use precision measurement and inspection tools Willingness to work 2nd shift (primary) with flexibility for other shifts, overtime, and weekends Ability to stand and perform physical work for an entire 8-hour shift Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance Ability to successfully complete background checks Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace manufacturing or high-spec production environments Familiarity with protective coatings, isoscope usage, and advanced metal finishing techniques Background in assembly, structural installation, and sealing operations Experience mentoring or training team members Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Why Join Us At PDS Tech Commercial, you're not just filling a role—you're helping shape the future of aviation:

Pay Details:
