What You'll Do Install and assemble commercial HVAC duct systems to high-quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications Ensure all work meets SMACNA standards and International Mechanical Codes Lay out and install ductwork using methods such as slip & drive, TDF, and snap lock Install equipment including air handling units, VAV boxes, and exhaust systems Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Perform quality checks and complete required documentation Collaborate with field teams and contribute to efficient project execution Troubleshoot challenges and adapt to changing job site conditions What You Bring Journey-level sheet metal experience preferred (no license required) Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and duct installation Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents Experience using hand and power tools Solid construction math skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Why Join W.G./Welch?
