Job description: Sheet metal Fabricator (Set up and operator on brake press, laser, and turret punch) - 2nd

Shift Job Responsibilities:

Program and operate CNC laser, turret punch machines, panel benders and press brakes Set up and operate brake press and punch press equipment Operate handheld overhead crane Operate Forklift Inspects parts as required by the quality inspection plan and verifies conformance to blueprint specifications Reports any manufacturing issues to supervisor and/or quality department Accurately completes job documentation as per company procedure and/or customer requirements Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area Perform work in an organized and productive manner to achieve target completion dates Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates or rulers

Experience/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Prior manufacturing experience running a mechanical press brake and/or laser cutting machine is required Ability to handle physical workload, lifting up to 50 lbs. 2 years of prior experience in CNC laser, turret punch press, press brake and panel bender (operate and set up) Knowledge and experience using basic inspection tools (mics, calipers, gages, scale, etc. and read blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with shop math Knowledge of GD&T desired, but not a requirement
