This position offers a long-term, evaluation-to-hire pathway for individuals looking for consistent, reliable work. Compensation Details First shift positions start at $17.72 per hour. Second shift roles offer $17.72 per hour plus a $1 hourly premium, totaling $18.72 per hour. Work Schedule First shift hours run Monday through Thursday, 5:30am to 4:00pm. Second shift hours run Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm to 2:30am. Friday and Saturday overtime may be required during busy periods. Core Responsibilities Utilize shears, press brakes, and CNC equipment to shape, bend, and cut sheet metal. Support the production of HVAC units by assembling copper parts and coils. Execute brazing tasks on various copper components. Interpret technical blueprints and utilize tape measures for precision. Ensure high quality standards by inspecting parts and maintaining a safe work environment for the entire team. Required Qualifications Background in sheet metal fabrication or relevant mechanical experience. Prior experience within a manufacturing fabrication environment is strongly desired. Capacity to comprehend and follow written work instructions and blueprints in English. Proficiency in operating metalworking machinery and various hand tools. Physical capability to lift loads weighing up to 40 lbs. Demonstrated history of consistent employment is highly valued. Additional Qualifications Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Capable of performing tasks solo or collaborating within a group setting. Strong organizational habits with a focus on precision.
