Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Fabrication Technician for a manufacturing facility in the Lower Burrell, PA area. This position supports sheet metal fabrication operations and offers cross-training opportunities in multiple areas of production. Employees may work in areas such as breakout, deburring, and hardware insertion while assisting with the preparation of metal components used in cabinet assemblies.
Shift & Schedule:

Fabrication Technician:
Perform breakout operations by separating parts from sheet metal using a mallet Sort, organize, and count fabricated parts Use hand tools such as dyna-files, belt sanders, and cordless drills to deburr and smooth metal edges Operate PEM machines to install hardware into sheet metal components Read blueprints to determine hardware placement and part specifications Assist with kitting and preparation of cabinet components Work closely with team members to ensure accurate part handling and production flow Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements of the
Fabrication Technician:
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including swinging a mallet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple fabrication processes within a growing manufacturing environment.
