Job Description

TeamGlobal is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic III to support aircraft structural maintenance operations in a Part 145 MRO environment. This position is responsible for performing inspections, structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, and component installations on CRJ and King Air aircraft while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards. Repair Station Aircraft:
CRJ and King Air (CRJ200 and King Air 200 preferred) Contract with opportunity for direct hire Variable shifts; flexibility required Must provide own tools U.S. Citizenship required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 10+ years of recent aircraft sheet metal/structures experience Stable work history with strong job tenure Experience performing aircraft structural repairs, riveting, and metal fabrication Ability to read and interpret SRMs, blueprints, aircraft manuals, and FAA technical documentation Experience assessing structural damage and determining repair requirements Knowledge of aluminum alloys, composites, and aircraft structural materials Familiarity with NDT processes and interpreting inspection results Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Preferred Qualifications Mechanical experience Avionics experience Essential Responsibilities Perform aircraft structural inspections and damage assessments Fabricate, repair, and install sheet metal components and assemblies Remove, replace, and repair aircraft skins, frames, bulkheads, and structural components Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and FAA repair documentation Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds Work in confined and elevated areas Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment for extended periods Perform structural repair work in an aircraft maintenance environment Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) TG Rewards Program Employee Referral Program Additional TeamGlobal benefits available
