Fabricator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with the ability to use a plate roller to bend metal according to standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Fabricate components using sheet metal and other materials as specified in project blueprints. Operate machinery such as cranes, forklift, and welding equipment (FCAW) for precise fabrication tasks. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. •Occasionally• Pressure wash materials before sending them out to the field or assembly bay Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines at all times. Collaborate with team leaders and managers to understand project requirements and timelines. Troubleshoot fabrication issues as they arise, providing solutions that maintain project integrity. Requirements Proven experience in fabricating sheet metal components Proficiency in machining techniques and the use of hand tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.
