Job Description
Overview We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Roll Former Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will set up and operate heavy-duty rolling machinery to form, bend, and flatten metal components that are critical to the construction of high-end architectural facades. You will be responsible for interpreting technical blueprints, handling heavy raw materials, and ensuring every rolled piece meets exact specifications. - $31 / hr Paid weekly Shift Monday to Friday 1st
Shift:
5:00am- 4:30pm Overtime consistently available Benefits Health, vision, dental 401(k) + match PTO Responsibilities Set Up & Operate Heavy Machinery
- Configure, set up, and operate heavy-duty sheet metal rollers to accurately bend, roll, and flatten metal components according to exact project requirements. Interpret Blueprints & Technical Drawings
- Read and analyze engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and production orders to determine the specific dimensions, angles, and specifications needed for each project. Execute Safe Material Handling
- Load and unload heavy metal sheets using overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts. Ensure all raw materials and finished parts are maneuvered safely without damage. Perform Critical Quality Inspections
- Measure finished parts using precision tools to verify strict accuracy against blueprints and proactively check for material defects. Conduct Routine Machine Maintenance
- Take ownership of your equipment by performing regular maintenance, including lubricating the machine, safely replacing rolls and dies, and maintaining a clean work area. Maintain Workflow Efficiency & Safety Compliance
- Troubleshoot material feeding or machine issues as they arise.
