Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal and Plate Fabrication Forming and Rolling Technician to join our growing team. This position involves working with various types of sheet metal, using forming and rolling equipment to shape metal sheets for various applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalworking, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate forming and rolling equipment, such as press brakes, plate rolls, and other metal equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine specifications. Measure, mark, and cut sheet metal according to specified dimensions and angles. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and customer expectations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Support other fabrication processes as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Plate and sheet metal fabrication, particularly forming and rolling. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient in operating metalworking machinery such as press brakes, plate rollers, and shears. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing environment. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CNC equipment and automated machinery. Certification in welding or other metalworking techniques. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
