Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly, with experience working on construction sites or in industrial settings. This role involves interpreting blueprints, operating various fabrication equipment, and ensuring the production of high-quality metal components in accordance with industry standards. The Fabricator will play a vital role in supporting our projects by creating precise metal parts and assemblies using a variety of tools and techniques. We are looking for the following skills and experience: Ability to read and understand blueprints/ schematics Experienced in reading and using multiple measuring tools: measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, gauges Ability to use hand tools for the plastics fabrication process Ability to use a computer (WMS, Microsoft, etc) Experience in a warehouse/ inventory setting is preferred but not a requirement
MONDAY - FRIDAY 6AM - 2
30 PM $17 Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and plasma cutting tools to join or cut metal components Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication Set up and operate machinery such as press brake machines, pipe threading machines, and plasma cutters for sheet metal work Perform rigging, assembly, and installation of fabricated components on construction sites or in manufacturing environments Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards during fabrication processes Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Assist with material handling using forklifts or other lifting equipment as needed Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and working around heavy machinery Experience Prior construction site experience or industrial fabrication background preferred Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and plasma cutting techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication projects Experience operating power tools such as press brakes, pipe threaders, and machining equipment Mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal work, ductwork fabrication, piping systems, and assembly processes Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools accurately Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to fabrication and welding projects Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks Ability to work safely with rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts in a manufacturing or construction environmentPay:
