Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and be adept at working with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to cut certain mathematic measurements and technical drawings. The Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in cutting the material and ensuring that all products meet industry codes and standards. Duties Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components. Operate machinery such as CNC machines, shears, and brakes for cutting and shaping metal. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions of components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Experience Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to metalworking. Proficient in working with sheet metal and understanding its properties. Experience in machining processes is a plus. Ability to operate cranes safely for moving heavy materials as needed. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Preferably bilingual in Spanish and English but not a requirement.
