Primary Job Duties:
Responsible for making critical decisions related to aircraft safety promptly and effectively. Accountable for maintaining proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts documentation. Required to read and comprehend aircraft drawings. Must possess a basic set of sheet metal tools.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid Level I A&P Certificate is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities are necessary. Sound judgment must be exercised when collaborating in team settings and ensuring aircraft maintenance and safety. Familiarity with base operations and the ability to read and comprehend Company and Manufacturer Manuals are expected. A minimum of two years' sheet metal experience is required. (For Accessory shop, experience is preferred, not required)
Physical and Other Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required Willingness to travel for road trips when necessary Flexibility to rotate shifts according to scheduling needs Participation in training outside the station, along with completion of new hire onboarding This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
