Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC sheet‑metal systems and components. This role involves hands‑on work in commercial and public buildings while collaborating with team members to complete high‑quality installations. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team under the direction of the Sheet Metal Superintendent or onsite Lead Measure, cut, and fit ductwork using hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools Transport tools, equipment, materials, and supplies using hand trucks or motorized vehicles Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various HVAC and mechanical systems Maintain clean and safe work areas Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications 1-3 years of sheet metal experience in commercial installation, OR a combination of vocational training and experience Ability to work overtime when needed Must pass a post‑offer drug screen and background check Skills & Abilities Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, efficient approach Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools and equipment Excellent customer service and professionalism Ability to communicate and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to stay calm and professional during unexpected situations Comfortable working in commercial environments with minimal supervision Total Rewards & Benefits Southern Air provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, financial security, and work‑life balance: Health Plan with company HSA contributions Dental & Vision Plans 401(k) with Company Match ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Short‑Term & Long‑Term Disability Life Insurance & AD&D Supplemental & Dependent Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO)

Employee Assistance Program Pay Range:
