We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team in Charlottesville, VA . What You'll Do As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will support the installation, repair, and maintenance of sheet metal systems in commercial and public building environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Work as part of a team to complete tasks assigned by the Superintendent or Lead Mechanic Measure, cut, and install ductwork using hand tools and measuring instruments Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional duties as needed to support project success What We're Looking For 1 to 3 years of sheet metal experience in commercial installation, or equivalent training and education Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks Why Join Southern Air?
