We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team in Richmond, VA . What You'll Do As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will support the installation, repair, and maintenance of sheet metal systems in commercial and public building environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Work as part of a team to complete tasks assigned by the Superintendent or Lead Mechanic Measure, cut, and install ductwork using hand tools and measuring instruments Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of systems and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional duties as needed to support project success What We're Looking For 1 to 3 years of sheet metal experience in commercial installation, or equivalent training and education Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks Why Join Southern Air?
