Sheet Metal Forming Fabricator Job Description We are a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for a diverse range of aerospace customers. Our Sheet Metal Forming Fabricators play a critical role as productive, contributing, and responsible members of their work team. The role involves supporting the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, and performing tasks such as bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, or sawing of metal products under the guidance of supervisors. This position is open to entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and grow in the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Assemble parts and operate machinery as instructed. Perform metalworking tasks such as bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, or sawing. Support team efforts towards total customer satisfaction and quality products. Adhere to lean processes, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery. Maintain safety standards and respect for colleagues. Essential Skills Experience with press brake, punch press, turret, line-up, or deburr operations. Machine operation, including loading and setup. Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three to six months of related experience or training. Knowledge of punching process, punch tooling, roll forming with sheet metal, blueprints, and brake forming. Experience with hand/power tools is a plus. Understanding of process flows, lead times, and lean principles in manufacturing. Strong team player and reliability. Knowledge of safe lifting techniques. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our clean manufacturing shop works with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts for aerospace applications. The environment is heavy-duty, can be loud, but is well-organized. The regular shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with initial training starting at 7:00 am. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
