Lead Installer Suncrest Illumination Chandler, AZ Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off On-the-job training Tools provided Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work In-person customer service Direct client contact Driver's License Attention to detail Landscaping Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Installer to join our team and drive excellence in installation projects across various construction sites. This is an opportunity to join a tight-knit crew in the residential outdoor lighting industry where your work is visible, your growth is real, and no two days look the same. This isn't a warehouse job or a dead-end position. You'll be out in the field, learning a specialized trade, sharpening your problem-solving skills, and building the kind of experience that makes you more valuable every single day. For the right person, a clear path to Crew Lead is already waiting. Responsibilities Install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems — fixtures, wiring, transformers, and more Run solo service calls, building confidence and independence in the field Communicate directly with homeowners, sharpening your customer-facing skills Develop a sharp eye for detail — clean installs, proper placement, professional results every time Learn how to load, manage, and care for professional-grade tools and equipment Travel daily to job sites across the valley, keeping every day fresh and dynamic Meet the crew each morning in Chandler and head out together to tackle the day Requirements / Experience Prior experience in outdoor lighting, low-voltage electrical, landscaping, irrigation, or a related trade is a plus — but not required Must be able to work outdoors in the Arizona heat comfortably and consistently Detail-oriented — you notice the small things and take pride in getting them right Comfortable talking with homeowners in a friendly, professional way Able to handle physical work — lifting, kneeling, digging, and being on your feet all day Reliable transportation to Chandler each morning Able to work independently when needed — trusted to handle a service call on your own Preferred (Not Required) Any experience with low-voltage or landscape lighting systems Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Background in a customer-facing or field service role Valid driver's license with a clean record Why This Role is Worth Your Time You'll learn a specialized trade that's in high demand. You'll gain experience running jobs solo — something most companies won't trust a new hire to do. You'll sharpen your people skills working directly with homeowners. And if you show up, work hard, and care about quality, you'll have a direct path to leading your own crew. This is a role you can actually grow with.
