Job Description
The Job We're looking for an experienced Solar Roof Lead to run residential detach & reset (solar removal and reinstall) jobs. This role is hands-on and crew-leading — not sales, not new installs. If you know how to safely remove solar, protect roofs, and put systems back the right way, we want to talk. What You'll Be Doing Lead a crew on residential solar detach & reset projects Remove and reinstall existing solar systems during reroofs Handle racking, panels, wiring management, and roof penetrations Make sure flashing and waterproofing are done clean and correct Read plans and layouts (nothing crazy, just know what you're looking at) Keep the job moving and make sure quality stays high Communicate with project managers on job status and issues Leave the job site clean and homeowners happy What We're Looking For 2+ years of residential solar experience Prior lead / foreman experience preferred Strong roofing knowledge (shingle, tile, flat roofs) Solid experience with detach & reset / R&R work Comfortable working on roofs and lifting up to 75 lbs Knows how to run a crew without micromanaging Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Electrical knowledge Why Work With Us Competitive pay with room to grow Overtime opportunities Chill, no-drama crew environment Real opportunity to move up as we grow If you've been leading detach & reset crews and want steady work with a solid team, apply now.
