Solar Installer First Response Solar Santa Rosa, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $30 an hour 11 days ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Cell phone reimbursement Retirement plan Qualifications Customer communication Interpersonal skills Customer service Driver's License Driving Construction Full Job Description This position is for a solar installer, who has construction experience and preferably experience with solar, electrical or roofing, however, we are willing to train. We are looking for an individual that is eager to learn, driven, wants to grow, and take on responsibility in our company. We are a family-owned company and operate in Sonoma County. You will be working directly with one of the owners of the company who holds a C-10 (Electrical) and C-46 (Solar) contractors license. You will be learning the full process of solar installations from the roof work to wiring solar and batteries, as you develop more skills. This position is part time (around 16-24hr/week) A installer is responsible for all work related to solar systems and overseeing that quality work and safety is maintained at all times. We are looking for someone who can take direction and execute the work without supervision. This person will be responsible for understanding how to layout a system, layout cabling, installed all material per manufacturer specifications, and run conduit.

Responsible. Great Time Management. Prompt and Punctual. Driven/Hard Working. Ability to go the extra mile. Must have driver's license and vehicle (Truck Preferred). Excellent communication skills and customer service. Team player. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Willingness to learn and be trained. Ability to work on a roof and in tight spaces.
Compensation:
$20-$30/ hour (depending on experience and skill level).
Phone Reimbursement:
$30/month Limited Mileage Reimbursement Retirement matching after the length of employment (full time) Healthcare after the length of employment (full time)
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
