We are open to hiring both W-2 employees and 1099 subcontractors. Candidates must have at least 1-3+ years of hands-on solar installation experience, including removals and reinstalls of existing systems, with troubleshooting skills preferred. Applicants need reliable transportation capable of hauling tools and materials to job sites and must be comfortable working independently. Candidates must be willing to travel to Grand Junction or Fort Collins. Mileage, lodging, and per diem are paid by the company. These projects are typically only schedueled Monday-Thursdays. Weekends off. Able to lift 40+pounds up and down ladders. Depending on experience, compensation starts with hourly pay for the first two weeks, transitioning to competitive panel pay for efficient installers who can run projects solo, with mileage reimbursed and the opportunity for a company van after three-six months for qualifying employees. Duties Remove and rienstall solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, and related electrical components following blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Connect high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols Use hand tools, ladders, and power tools Perform fixture installation, wiring, grounding, and electrical testing to ensure system functionality Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, safety inspections, and system configurations Experience Proven experience as a solar installer with a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction site operations Hands-on experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems in residential or commercial settings Knowledge of NEC standards related to solar energy systems and electrical safety practices
