  • Join our team as a Solar Electrical Technician, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing solar power systems that pave the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future. As a vigilant and skilled technician, you will ensure that our solar installations operate at peak efficiency while adhering to the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair solar electrical components and systems, including panels, inverters, wiring, and other related equipment.
Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve any electrical issues or inefficiencies within solar power systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and modify solar electrical installations to meet project specifications and safety codes. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of solar energy systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs conducted on solar installations. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders, offering solutions to enhance system performance and energy savings. Adhere to and promote workplace safety regulations and guidelines to minimize risks associated with electrical work. Stay informed on the latest industry trends and advancements in solar technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably with a focus on solar energy systems.
Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for solar installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical or solar technology are preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Comfortable with heights and ability to climb ladders or access rooftops as required. Capacity to lift and carry materials and equipment as necessary.
