The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work at heights. Responsibilities
  • Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
  • Conduct electrical work including wiring, connecting systems, and ensuring proper voltage levels using voltmeters.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation processes.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations regarding high voltage systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in the training of new team members on installation techniques and safety practices. Experience
  • Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including commercial electrician experience, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics to guide installation processes.
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and high voltage equipment is essential.
  • Ability to work at heights safely while performing installations on roofs or elevated structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
