As we continue to expand our Solar operations, we are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team and contribute to the growth of our solar sales division. Overview The solar installer works under the direction of a lead installer as part of our solar team to efficiently complete solar installations following high standards of safety and quality workmanship. Prior experience in solar or related fields is preferred. Key Responsibilities Assemble and install solar panels and related equipment using small hand or power tools on rooftops and ground mount systems Perform work at various heights on ladders and rooftops with proper safety gear Work in collaboration with other installers and electricians and assist in resolving on-site issues as needed Prepare the job site for installation work to begin Maintain a clean organized jobsite and complete a final cleanup when project is finished Commit to following all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment Provide professional and courteous customer service Other duties as directed Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent Experience in solar, construction or roofing is preferred
NABCEP PV
Installation Professional certification preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experienced using hand tools and small power tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working at heights on ladders and rooftops following all safety protocols Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks with prolonged periods of walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting Able to lift, push and pull up to 50-75 pounds frequently Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
