Solar Installer

Key Responsibilities Site Prep & Assembly:

Assemble, install, and secure solar panels, mounting hardware, and electrical components based on building plans.

Electrical Work:

Connect panels to the electrical grid, including wiring, grounding, and installing inverters.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols, local building codes, and structural regulations.

Testing & Maintenance:

Perform routine troubleshooting, diagnostics, and testing to ensure system functionality.

Project Documentation:

Complete job site documentation, including site assessments and maintenance reports. Bureau of Labor Statistics (.gov) +7

Required Qualifications & Skills Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in renewable energy or construction is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with hand and power tools, and a basic understanding of electrical systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Certifications:

Often require OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain).

Skills:
