In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems on residential rooftops and ground-mounted sites. We're seeking motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are focused on precise craftsmanship and safety-conscious practices. We offer a flexible schedule. Duties Safely remove and install solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical components according to project specifications and industry standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate system setup Connect high voltage and low voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines while maintaining safety protocols Use hand tools and power tools, to facilitate installation tasks efficiently Perform fixture installation, wiring, grounding, and system testing to verify proper operation before project completion Conduct routine inspections of installed systems for quality assurance and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues as needed Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project progression while adhering to safety standards including roofing safety practices Skills Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems with experience in electrical experience or commercial electrician roles Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams essential for accurate installation Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations governing solar electrical work Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, and solar installation processes Construction site experience with the ability to work safely at heights on roofs or elevated structures Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in system troubleshooting and quality control Experience Looking for candidates with a minimum of two years experience in solar, five years or more preferred.
