In this role, you will be responsible for installing, wiring, and maintaining solar energy systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise will help drive the transition to sustainable power sources while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to a greener future. Responsibilities Install solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, and electrical components following blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate system setup Connect high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and construction site machinery such as forklifts to facilitate installations Perform fixture installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and system testing to guarantee optimal performance Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Conduct inspections of electrical systems for quality assurance and compliance with local codes and regulations Requirements Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical installation within construction environments Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical codes applicable to solar installations Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, plumbing (for certain system components), and construction site safety practices Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus Strong electrical experience with fixture installation and wiring of solar energy systems Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in dynamic environments Valid electrician license or certification preferred; relevant training in solar or renewable energy is advantageous Embark on a career that energizes your skills while making a meaningful impact on our planet.
