Job Description

Electrical Senior The Company PlugPV is a small, high impact team dedicated to the deployment of solar electric systems for homeowners and small businesses. PlugPV is fun! We are excited to work together with one another, with industry stakeholders, and with customers to educate, promote, design, sell, install, and service residential solar. We are data driven, action oriented, and creative thinkers looking to accomplish the goal. The Position The Electrical Senior is a mission critical role within the organization. This individual is responsible for the safe and code compliant installation of all AC solar array components. The Electrical Senior shall work with the Crew Leader to prep installation materials, ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in order, and install major systems components including inverters, conduit, and electrical enclosures. You will work to maintain a good customer experience at the installation stage and will ultimately be responsible for maintaining the safety and quality behind your workmanship. The Responsibilities Aid in the preparation of job materials, crew members, and equipment Work with Crew Leader to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of safety protocols Deploy with the installation crew to each installation Aid in the staging of materials Layout and Install major AC system components Ensure equipment is being installed according to spec Ensure all closeout and commissioning procedures are being completed Additional duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 Years' experience installing photovoltaic systems and AC system components Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold) Capable of lifting 50 lbs Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops Excellent customer service & communication skills Must be a self-starter with a natural sense of urgency and motivation to succeed Must have a valid state driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
