Job Description
A well-established electrical contracting organization is seeking a qualified Electrical Solar Foreman to lead and manage solar electrical projects from initiation through completion. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced field leader with strong technical expertise and proven supervisory skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage assigned solar electrical projects from kickoff through final closeoutCoordinate with project managers, customers, contractors, vendors, and other tradesPlan, layout, and oversee installation of PV systems, racking, wiring, inverters, and related electrical equipment in accordance with project specifications and local codesOrder and manage labor, materials, tools, and equipment to support daily operationsMonitor labor productivity and material usage to meet or exceed project estimatesEnsure all work is performed safely, neatly, and to a high standard of qualityConduct weekly toolbox talks and complete daily site safety documentationLead, train, and mentor apprentices and field personnelParticipate in job meetings as requiredIdentify and communicate potential change orders or value-added opportunitiesEnsure timely and accurate completion of all required project documentation, including time tracking, purchase orders, as-built drawings, expense submissions, and closeout materialsDeliver projects with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and professional representation of the companyEnforce company, customer, and OSHA safety standards; promote a zero-incident safety cultureProactively identify and report potentially hazardous conditions or equipmentRequired Qualifications & SkillsDemonstrated experience as an Electrical Foreman, preferably within solar or renewable energy projectsStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schedulesWorking knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and job-site issuesExcellent communication and organizational skillsDependable, punctual, and professional demeanorCommitment to quality workmanship and safetyValid driver's license and ability to be insured under company policiesWillingness to travel and work out of town as project needs requireRequired hand tools per company standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to work at heights, including ladders, roofs, and aerial liftsAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying materials weighing 75 pounds or more
