Job Description

Solar Installation Technician Interested in starting a career with purpose? It's easy to wake up every day and work hard for something that you believe in. We're looking for like-minded individuals that are willing to work hard, dedicate themselves to their craft, and be proud of the finished product. Our approach is simple. We provide quality solutions, at a fair price. We strive to help homeowners and business owners reduce their carbon footprint through intelligent energy solutions. Our Solar Installation Technicians work alongside our electricians and solar professionals to assist in solar installations. We work on roofs, ground mount arrays, and commercial buildings. If you're a climber, have experience in the trades (especially roofing), care about helping the environment, than this is the perfect position for you! Alongside assisting the electrician and solar professionals, you'll learn how to read design schematics, troubleshoot issues that arise in the field, and how to turn plans into reality. Here's more of what we're looking for: Clean background and history of working had and being part of a team Positive track record and Experience installing solar is a huge plus Experience with roofing is also a huge plus Sheet metal and flashing experience will set you apart Professional workmanship with both homeowners and co-workers, we treat each other with respect. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be comfortable on a ladder Strong work ethic and attention to detail Believe in quality, aesthetics, and taking your time to do it right Must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions Always put safety first. Lead by example and mitigate safety concerns before they arise. OSHA 10 Certification required within 12 months This position pays $18 to $26 per hour depending on experience.
