Aerotek is hiring a FLAT Roof Solar Laborer in Conshohocken, PA! $22-$25/HR with WEEKLY pay Job Description This role supports the reinstallation of rooftop solar panels on commercial facilities. You will work as part of a field crew to safely remove existing solar panels during phase one and reinstall them during phase two, following strict safety standards and project timelines. The position requires comfort working at heights on flat roofs and may involve travel to additional project sites as needed. Responsibilities Support the reinstallation of solar panels during phase two, following instructions from supervisors and experienced solar technicians. Work on commercial rooftop installations, ensuring all tasks align with project specifications and safety guidelines. Use basic construction and electrical hand tools under guidance to complete assigned tasks related to solar installations. Follow all site safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment such as steel toe boots, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, and high-visibility vest. Maintain a clean and organized work area on rooftops and around staging areas to reduce hazards and improve efficiency. Adapt to outdoor working conditions and adjust work activities as needed based on weather and site requirements. Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete daily tasks within the scheduled 8- 10-hour shifts. Remain open to potential travel to additional project locations, such as other commercial solar job sites, as part of the same crew when requested. Essential Skills Experience working in solar, electrical, or construction environments, preferably on commercial solar projects. Background in commercial solar work, including rooftop installations. Ability to work safely and confidently at heights on flat roofs. Capability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, carrying, and working on your feet for extended periods. Reliability to work a 40-hour schedule structured as four 10-hour shifts. Commitment to following safety protocols and using required personal protective equipment. Willingness to discuss and potentially travel to additional job sites as project needs arise. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior solar installation experience, especially rooftop solar, is a strong plus. Familiarity with commercial construction job sites and related safety practices. Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a crew. Why Work Here?
