Job Description
Summary of Role As a Solar Installer , you will be a key member of our residential installation crew in Pittsburgh, PA. You'll assist with all mechanical aspects of solar installations including layout, racking, module placement, and site organization. Working closely with your crew, you'll ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. Key Responsibilities Layout, assemble, and install solar arrays and mounting hardware Mount racking and electrical equipment; effectively seal all penetrations Perform trenching and concrete work as required Assist with electrical wiring of energy products Safely use and maintain PPE, hand tools, and power tools Keep a clean, organized, and safe worksite Upload job photos and update status in company database Deliver excellent customer service throughout the installation process Travel for extended periods as required Attend training on new products, methods, and safety protocols Perform additional duties as needed Qualifications 1+ year of solar and/or roofing experience (required) Must be located in the Pittsburgh, PA area General construction/framing experience (preferred) Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops; able to climb ladders and stairs Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Electrical experience is a plus Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform repetitive tasks (lifting, bending, standing) Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professional demeanor Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record Equal Employment Opportunity Lifestyle is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
