Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Technician to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems across commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will help drive the transition to sustainable energy solutions while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Duties Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related electrical components following blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and construction blueprints to ensure precise installation Conduct inspections of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Utilize hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and other construction site tools safely and effectively during installations Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing solar systems to optimize performance Assist with fixture installation and integration of electrical components within commercial or residential structures Operate forklifts and other construction machinery as needed to transport materials safely around job sites Skills Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems with the ability to read schematics accurately Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction projects involving solar installations Knowledge of NEC standards, blueprint reading, and electrical codes relevant to solar energy systems Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, plumbing fixtures, and other construction site tools Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA regulations Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints for precise system setup Physical capability to work at heights on roofs or elevated structures using appropriate safety measures Join us if you're passionate about renewable energy technology and eager to make a tangible impact through your technical skills!
