Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shelving Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation of shelving systems, closet components, and storage solutions in residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, has strong problem-solving skills, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Install shelving systems, closet organizers, and storage units according to specifications and layout plans Measure, mark, and secure materials to ensure accurate and level installations Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Load, transport, and unload materials to and from job sites Communicate with builders, project managers, and homeowners professionally on-site Troubleshoot and adjust installations as needed to ensure proper fit and finish Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous experience in installation, carpentry, construction, or related field preferred Ability to read a tape measure and basic layout plans Comfortable using hand tools, drills, levels, and saws Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Preferred Skills (Not Required): Experience with closet systems, cabinetry, or trim work Basic knowledge of construction materials and job site safety Customer service experience
Work Environment:
Primarily field-based at residential construction sites Fast-paced, physically active role Work indoors and outdoors depending on job stage
